Camp Nakanawa Announces The Construction and Completion of “The Centennial Arena.” The Centennial Arena is located in Junior Camp. This 180’x85′ building completely covers the entire Junior Camp Horseback Riding Arena. This beautiful facility will give the Junior Camp Horseback Riders the opportunity to ride during most class periods, even if the weather conditions are rainy or muddy. The Centennial Arena will also be used for other Activities and events such as an Indoor… Games Meet and Evening Entertainment. The funds to build the Centennial Arena came from the generous donations from our Centennial and Legacy Families. When the donations were made we discussed paying for our “Spirit of Nakanawa: A Centennial History Book,” which has been done, and as the history book sold using the donation a second time for a Centennial Gift to Camp Nakanawa. Nakanawa Alumni and Friends have donated funds to build the Centennial Arena, an enduring gift to the campers of Camp Nakanawa. This will give our counselors the ability to deliver excellent instruction for horseback riding in any weather condition – decade after decade. Thank you to all for this wonderful gift!
The 2019 SlideShow Tour was simply FANTASTIC! It was great to see so many current and prospective Nakanawa Families and Alumni! If you know of a prospective camper, please email their name, address and phone number and we will be happy to send them an Information Packet. If you would like to host a ShideShow in the Spring, please let us know via email.
Thank you for all that you do for Camp Nakanawa! Here are some photos of those that we saw along the way!
